Red Tie raises thousands for local HIV/AIDS organizations
An unprecedented $700,000 dollars is being awarded to agencies throughout Oklahoma that will fund education and services to people with HIV/AIDS.
“Proceeds from the annual Red Tie Night are used to help these agencies,” said Lela Sullivan, president of the Oklahoma AIDS Care Fund (OACF). “This is a record amount, more than we have ever given in the 16 years we have been doing Red Tie Night.”
